YOUR HOME FROM HOME WITH HOSTS EAMON & MARIE MCMANUS
Laurel Lodge accommodation is a luxurious and spacious modern farmhouse located next to a five thousand year old bog and only two minutes from one of Ireland’s premier fishing locations. County Offaly is located right in the heart of Ireland and is easily accessible by air, sea and road. Eamon or Marie would be happy to advise you of what’s happening during your visit and given our peaceful location, Laurel Lodge is the ideal retreat for tired limbs after a long days sightseeing or fishing. For those seeking nighttime entertainment, Offaly has a thriving social and sporting scene with a range of attractions on offer.
“We have stayed several times in the past at this B&B, the hosts Marie & Eamon (pictured above) have always been so welcoming. The B&B is in a great location, the rooms are perfect for families, they are always spotless, the hospitality is amazing and very accommodating. The food has always exceeded our expectations. There are beautiful grounds outside if you want to sit and relax, adorable shops, bars and restaurants nearby. I would highly recommend staying here with your family you will not be disappointed that you did”
HIGHLY RECOMMEND
LAUREL LODGE! FANTASTIC FOOD, HOSPITALITY AND LOVELY HOME
“Owners Eamon and Marie go above and beyond for their guests! The B&B is lovely, extremely clean, amenities, and large space with several rooms, pretty gardens, play equipment for kids, patios, gazebo, and the food is delicious. Our family of 4 had a great time. Close drive to Shannonbridge which is a little village with food, pubs and music. We highly recommend and enjoyed our stay very much!”
A WONDERFUL B&B
WE FELT LIKE WE SHOULD SAY GOODBYE TO EVERYONE THERE…
“We happened upon the Laurel Lodge House while wandering looking for a place to stay. This B&B is lovely and our hosts were very accommodating. Upon arrival, we were served warm homemade apple pie and ice cream , which was wonderful after a long day of travel. They directed us to the local pub, where there was local Irish music and friendly locals. We commented upon leaving the pub, that we felt like we should say goodbye to everyone there, as they seemed like friends. I highly recommend this B&B.”
